COVID-19 Procedures

It is our goal that every single client and member of our staff feels safe and comfortable in our salon, please find below the new procedures to follow when visiting Asembo:

  • Arrive alone for your appointment, sorry no children unless they have an appointment at the same time as yours
  • Bring a face mask that will be worn at all times in the building
  • Wait in your car or outside away from the building until 5 minutes before your appointment then proceed through the gate to the right of the building, down the side path and into our new greeting zone; please do not attempt to enter the building through the front door, we are operating a strict one-way system
  • Use the hand sanitiser provided on the wall by the door and take a seat in our greeting zone
  • Use our client sign-in iPad to enter your details, answer some COVID-19 screening questions and have your temperature checked by a member of the team (you can make this process completely contactless by scanning the QR code on display and checking in via your own device)
  • If you are late, we may have to reschedule and charge a fee
  • When asked please follow the member of staff into the building
  • Keep a space of 2 metres between you and anyone else in the salon
  • Do not touch or shake hands with anyone else in the salon
  • As we will not have the opportunity to book your next appointment at reception at the end of your treatment, we are asking clients to book it with a member of staff during their treatment, or call us as soon as you have left Asembo and we will organise it over the phone
  • Please bring your bank card or a form of contactless payment as we will not be able to process cash payments (the team will still be able to accept cash tips)

We are also asking customers to reschedule your appointment if:

  • You have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days
  • Have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days

So that our salon is as safe as possible, you will have a slightly different salon experience than before:

  • The use of the coat rack will be suspended for the time being so please limit the amount of personal items you bring with you into the salon; anything brought in will need to be kept with you at all times
  • All of our washrooms are fully operational and you are more than welcome to use them, we request that you use the disinfectant spray and wipes provided on all surfaces before and after use
  • Appointments are spaced out to reduce the number of people present and to allow extra time for cleaning/sanitisation
  • Sanitising of personal spaces and hand washing will take place in between clients, as well as more frequent cleaning of high touch common area surfaces
  • Staff have been informed and trained on sanitisation best practices
